Position Overview:
The Accounting Specialist will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of our organization. This role will involve managing financial records, reconciling bank statements, and ensuring that all transactions are correctly recorded and processed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update financial records and statements.
- Reconcile bank, credit card, and other financial accounts.
- Process invoices, payments, and track expenses.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
- Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Assist with tax preparation and audits as needed.
- Stay updated with industry trends and changes in accounting regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3+ of professional accounting experience.
- Proficiency with accounting software (experience with Wave is a plus).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
