Position Description:
Collaborate with hiring managers to confirm hiring needs
Coordinate job postings, screen candidates, schedule interviews and issue offers
Support background screening processes (security assessment, employment and education)
Coordinate new hire onboarding and employee return to work processes
Support recruitment of contractors, act as liaison with agencies and administer the contractor program
Organize full-cycle recruitment and onboarding of students for co-ops/internships though educational institutions
Provide support to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion initiatives for the organization
Position Requirements:
Required Qualifications:
University degree or college diploma
Minimum 1-2 years of experience in Human Resources Management
Understanding of confidentiality concerning HR matters
Demonstrated ability to collaboratively work as a team member
Demonstrated commitment to customer service
Excellent interpersonal & organizational skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Intermediate skill level in MS office applications
Ability to travel (2% Cdn)
Preferred Qualifications:
CHRP designation or in progress
Experience in recruitment
Experience in a manufacturing environment
Proven success recruiting for advanced technology and software skills
