GM is looking for an authority in discovering new users, who has brings their knowledge of performance marketing, hands on experience of building consumer awareness and driving lead generation, using all available resources, and analytics. The role will build, implement, and strategize a creative approach and tactics to finding and retaining new audiences.
This position is the lead for GM Canada’s Connected Products & Services customer acquisition for new product launches, and plays a key role in the success of OnStar and Connected Services in Canada. Reporting to the National Sales & Marketing, you will sit at the intersection of the marketing, product, and communication teams implementing customer acquisition plans, developing compelling and impactful value propositions that support the continuous delivery of value to market, strengthening the our market presence and driving financial performance – delivering true business impact.
Specific Responsibilities Include:
Translate technical capabilities into benefits, business outcomes, and compelling value driven messaging, impactful and converting marketing assets, and enablement materials (external and internal)
Develop ideal customer profiles and personas, identify use cases, grasp problems, map value, set positioning and value propositions
Lead Connected and Products Services customer acquisition, across all tactics, working closely with various collaborators such as product managers, communications, legal, operations, finance, etc.
Be a guide on our products, the value, our buyers, and the customer journey – transferring this knowledge to the Product Marketing Team to help guide roadmap planning and prioritization
Build and develop key partnerships and other alternative/non-traditional tactics that will support brand product adoption and customer referrals
Elevate the brand and product offerings across all consumer touch points and work closely with the Analytics/Optimization lead to lower overall cost per acquisition
Be customer focused, representing the customer’s voice in product strategy decisions and translating this into impactful experiences across the entire customer journey and product lifecycle
Enable and educate our teams and partners to ensure positioning, value proposition, and personas become cemented in the minds of all employees and external partners empowering them as advocates
Additional Job Description
Qualifications
Post Secondary Education required – University degree preferred (Bachelor of Commerce / Business with major in Marketing an asset)
3+ years of leading marketing projects and campaign execution in large organizations.
Experience in acquisition marketing/prospecting is an asset.
3+ years of relevant work experience in performance, acquisition, and/or product marketing
Ability to easily transition from high level critical thinking to creative and detailed execution
Successful candidates will be required to attest to, and be prepared to provide proof of, their vaccination status and that any job offer will be conditional on the candidate being fully vaccinated.
