Account Executive, Enterprise – Retail & Manufacturing Industries, Switzerland & Austria

The Account Executive is the catalyst behind Genesys’ success as an organization. As a consultative sales expert, the Account Executive is responsible for driving revenue growth and bringing in net new business from prospects and existing customers. Account Executives help solve the business needs of our prospects and customers by aligning those needs and objectives with Genesys solutions. Account Executives own all opportunities within their prospects and customers and are responsible for coordinating resources and managing the sales campaign across the entire sales cycle and forecast their pipeline accurately.
Your role as an Enterprise Account Executive is to close net new business and retain the existing customer base to which you are assigned. You will focus on the vertical industries Retail & Manufacturing and further develop Genesys regional positioning in these industries with the objective to clearly articulate and establish a compelling value proposition specific to that vertical and refine the go-to-market. You are responsible for all opportunities and accounts assigned to you. This responsibility requires the management of both pre-and post-sales support resources throughout sales campaigns and reports to a Sales Manager.
The Account Executive works hand in hand with Marketing and Sales Development Representatives to define lead nurturing up to hand-over of qualified leads and opportunities. Further, the Account Executive teams up with Solution Consulting to discuss and review account strategy and opportunity progress, prepare meetings, conduct CX discoveries, etc. Once an opportunity has been closed, the Account Executive’s job is to help manage the initial phase of post-sales support and ensure implementation is set up accordingly. This is achieved through the support of additional resources – such as Success Management, Value Realization- and Professional Services teams – whose goal is to help you close the deal and deliver the project against the plan.
