ABOUT GEORGE BELL ARENA
Opened in 1961, George Bell Arena replaced the outdoor Ravina Rink and was named in honour of Toronto’s Park Commissioner, George T. Bell. The arena has been home to the Toronto Maple Leafs, Toronto Furies, Toronto Marlies, and Ryerson Rams.
We proudly serve the communities of York, Swansea, Toronto Junction, High Park, and Etobicoke.
JOB SCOPE
Reporting to the Arena Manager, Arena Operators are front-line staff responsible for the upkeep of the facility, including building maintenance, ice flow management, janitorial duties, general repairs, onsite supervision, and relevant tasks as assigned. Shift times range, with opening and closing responsibilities.
This role requires someone capable of working independently and as part of a team, with the ability to plan proactively and troubleshoot when necessary. Maintaining an active presence while onsite is a must, to develop working relationships and support our community.

PROOF OF VACCINATION & MASKS
George Bell Arena, in accordance with the City of Toronto’s vaccination policy, requires proof of vaccination from all employees. Proof means documentation verifying receipt of a vaccination series approved by Health Canada or the World Health Organization.
Staff are required to wear masks at all times while onsite.
