We are headquartered in Hong Kong and Vancouver, with operating offices in Shanghai, London, Singapore, and San Francisco for strategic and regulatory functions.
Now we are looking for a Junior Accountant for our office in downtown Vancouver. This is a full-time, permanent position, reporting directly to the Finance Manager.
Responsibilities
- Complete full-cycle accounting and bookkeeping
- Perform month-end reconciliation for all accounts, including all accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Independently prepare and manage financial reports
- Ensure compliance with local legal requirements by studying requirements and enforcing adherence to requirements, filing reports, and advising management on necessary actions
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Good command of English and Mandarin (spoken & written)
- A degree/diploma with a focus in accounting or business administration
- At least 1-2 years experience in accounting / bookkeeping
- Strong team player with excellent communication skills
- Expert proficiency in Excel
- Experience with accounting software
- Strong attention-to-detail, with a high degree of accuracy and reliability
- Proven ability to manage/prioritize multiple projects
