Who are we looking for?
Our office in Waterloo, Ontario is looking for a friendly, energetic and customer-centric Receptionist to join us on a full-time permanent basis. This role will primarily be responsible for answering incoming calls to our main switchboard, greeting visitors and other reception duties as required.

Working with an energetic and hard-working team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:
- Greet, assist and direct all visitors; assist with the visitor sign-in/out process
- Answer main telephone line and transferring calls
- Provide excellent customer service to internal and external clients by responding to questions, directing calls and determining client’s needs
- Act as a back-up for GHD’s facilities team; internal mail room, file scanning, formatting documents, print room
- General office administration support and projects as needed
What you will bring to the team:
- Minimum 1-3 years of professional office experience required
- High School Diploma
- Professional attitude and approach is a prerequisite
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience using the Adobe & Microsoft suite of applications (MS Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Able to work in office 40 hour work week; 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. shift.
