We are currently hiring Casual CERTIFIED Personal Support Workers (PSWs) for varying shifts with the following qualifications:
- Experience in long-term care required
- Valid Ontario Personal Support Worker (PSW) Certificate with verification (NACC certificate OR transcript of marks )
- Current CPR and First Aid certification, Vulnerable Sector Check (within 1 year), 2 Step TB (within 3 years)
- Updated Immunization Records that include Measles, Rubella and Varicella, and Tuberculosis. Prophylaxis immunization of Hepatitis B is strongly encouraged
- Current N95 / mask fit certificate is definite asset
- Superior interpersonal skills that include verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with clients, seniors, and families.
- Effective skills in critical thinking and problem solving.
- Proven ability to work independently and as a member of a dynamic team.
- Efficient decision-making and problem-solving abilities
- Willing and ready to work flexible hours.
