Gifted Hands Health Services Looking for Casual Personal Support Worker at Oshawa, ON Full Time

THESE FACILITIES HAVE A COVID VACCINE POLICY THAT REQUIRES 3 DOSES OF THE COVID VACCINE (COVID passport with QR code will be requested.)

We are currently hiring FOUR (4) CERTIFIED Personal Support Workers (PSW) for ON CALL VARYING SHIFTS with the following qualifications:

• Experience in long-term care required
• Valid Personal Support Worker (PSW) Certificate with verification (NACC certificate OR transcript of marks OR school ID badge)
• Current CPR and First Aid certification, Vulnerable Sector Check (within 1 year), 2 Step TB (within 3 years)
• Updated Immunization Records that include Measles, Rubella and Varicella, and Tuberculosis. Prophylaxis immunization of Hepatitis B is strongly encouraged
• Current N95 / mask fit certificate is definite asset
• Superior interpersonal skills that include verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with clients, seniors, and families.
• Effective skills in critical thinking and problem solving.
• Proven ability to work independently and as a member of a dynamic team.
• Efficient decision-making and problem-solving abilities
• Willing and ready to work flexible hours.
