Gighub.com Looking for Junior Accountant Clerk at Toronto, Ontario, Canada Full Time

The Company:

Our Client operates multiple brands in the baby and child categories. They are growing rapidly due to their consultative sales approach and their superior customer service. They also share a passion for the industry and products.

This is a junior accounting role that can be part-time with the possibility of moving to full-time.

The office is in North York and will require going into the office at least 3 days per week.

The team is engaged, fun and the business is growing rapidly.

Responsibilities

· Posts customer payments by recording ETF, checks, and credit card transactions

· Collect on customer accounts

· Process new customer applications by collecting credit references

· Responsible for the full cycle accounts payable (coding and data entry to process payments electronically or by cheque)

· File and maintain A/P invoices

· Maintain vendor’s records in the system

· Handle vendor inquiries

· Reconciles and analyzes vendor accounts to support month-end and year-end requirements

Qualifications

· 2 to 3 years of relevant work experience

· University degree or College diploma

· Strong MS Office skills

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills

· Accounting experience or knowledge is an asset

· Dynamic individual with good people skills, strong work ethic, and positive team player.
