You will act as an enablement consultant to the business, providing insight-based data-driven results that align with GitLab’s organizational goals and objectives.
In this role, you will work cross-functionally, with primary stakeholders in AMER Field Sales as well as Product Marketing, Field Communication and Content, Customer Success, Solutions Architects, Revenue Strategy and Analytics, and Field Enablement teams. Lead the creation and support of enablement activities based on departmental strategy, company mission, and CRO priorities
Drive adoption of new skills through coaching, follow-up communications, and measurement
Facilitate repeatable cadences for driving pipeline generation, pipeline progression, and other foundational enablement programs like territory planning, account planning, account teaming, and sales onboarding
Maintain updated content and courses in LMS and Content Management platforms.
Act as a trusted advisor to the business by advocating for AMER Field Sales teams while prioritizing the Field Enablement roadmap
Effectively leverage comprehensive GTM enablement processes and frameworks to ensure consistency of programs and outputs
Pivot when necessary and embrace iteration to accommodate agility within the organization
What you’ll bring
Experience working with Field leadership teams, with a proven ability to deliver information in a clear, concise, and meaningful way and drive influence with this senior audience.
Experience in quota-carrying role(s) (Enterprise Sales preferred)
Strong understanding of pre-and post-sales motions, including sales, customer success, and partner motions
Demonstrated track record of program design, development, and implementation with measurable results
Strong Executive Presence and business acumen with functional expertise to deliver impactful programs with a high ROI
Highly detailed and process-oriented
Experience working with Salesforce.com, Clari, Highspot, Gong, Groove, and Spekit or similar tools is a plus
Flexible, fast learner, willing to iterate and prioritize agility over perfection
A customer-focused mindset, with high levels of empathy and understanding for both the Field and customer audiences
