The Parts Shipper/Receiver verifies and keeps records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment. Assures proper control of parts inventory and related administrative functions.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Ship and receive all parts in an efficient manner.

Assist in retrieving, loading, and unloading parts from parts van.
-
Provide assistance to customers, the shop, drivers, and counter staff.
-
Receive and record the movement of parts and stock to and from particular locations.
-
Use the best method of shipment and arrange for pick-up and delivery.
-
Prepare the appropriate paper work both manually and using the ADP/CDK system.
-
Other parts related duties as they arise.
Requirements:
-
Automotive industry experience preferred
-
ADP/CDK Knowledge is an asset
-
Computer proficiency
-
Clean and valid driver’s abstract
-
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines
-
Outstanding leadership skills and be a team player
-
Ability to work in a fast paced environment with minimal supervision
-
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
-
Demonstrated customer service skills
