Position: Inbound Coordinator

Location: Oshawa, ON

Employment Type: Full-Time

As an Inbound Coordinator, your primary responsibility will involve overseeing the administrative functions that support various departments. This includes organizing data, managing records, and ensuring the safety and security requirements are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and oversee inbound shipments, ensuring timely delivery and cost-effective transportation.
• Collaborate with suppliers to enhance the performance of inbound shipments.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and shipment data.
• Take charge of actively participating in all inventory-related tasks.
• Adhere to established inventory processes and procedures.
• Be well-versed in managing and tracking freight locations.
• Possess a working knowledge of relevant ISO procedures.
• Proficiency with RF scanning equipment.
• Handle the receipt of incoming shipments and the dispatch of outgoing products.
• Cultivate an environment focused on continuous improvement.
• Comply with all health and safety regulations.
• Engage in the necessary training requirements for Material Handling personnel.
• Identify and resolve any discrepancies between received or shipped items and orders.
• Implement 5S principles for effective workplace organization.
• Identify and report any instances of damaged products.
• Review packing lists to ensure accuracy.
• Provide details regarding incoming route/lane locations.
• Undertake other relevant duties as required.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in the transportation industry.
• Understanding of transportation and trade regulations.
• Strong grasp of supply chain processes and inventory management.
• Intermediate computer skills, including a deep understanding of Excel.
• A Grade 12 education or a Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field (preferred).
• A clean criminal record with no pardons.
• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in logistics and supply chain management software.
• Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized.

This Inbound Coordinator role offers a competitive annual salary of $62,500.
