Gorilla Property Services is a locally owned company providing exceptional property maintenance services to residential, multi-family and commercial clients in Saskatoon and surrounding communities. Our services include gutter, window and dryer vent cleaning; graffiti removal; soft washing building exteriors; power washing concrete and pavement; parking lot cleaning; snow clearing and removal; and holiday light installation and removal.

Gorilla Property Services offers an extensive training program on our methods and tools and supply uniforms.

Gorilla Property Services is currently hiring 2 full time mechanically inclined, safety-minded construction crew leads to join our team.

Qualifications:

Leadership – as the onsite face of our company, you will be able to deal with our clients in person, as well as lead a crew, both by example and direction, to get the work done in a way that demonstrates pride in the work and the company.

Physical Fitness – there is a lot of walking, standing, crouching, climbing ladders, lifting and carrying heavy materials and tools.

Problem Solver – recognize potential issues for the property owner, the crew, and the company; develop solutions and communicate them to Owner. Resolve onsite issues with/for crew and clients.

Self-Starter – assess work site, demonstrate care of property while on site, direct site clean up.

Successful candidates will have:

• Valid drivers’s license (drivers abstract will be required for successful candidates),
• Experience safely working at heights, on ladders and on rooftops, and be mechanically inclined,
• Valid Fall Protection Certificate,
• The ability to work well in a team,
• The demonstrated ability to communicate with crew leads and co-workers to complete tasks safely and efficiently.

First Aid/CPR, WHIMIS, Mobile Work Platforms and/or Aerial Lifts Certificate are considered assets.

MUST BE ABLE TO LEARN AND FOLLOW PROCESSES

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Provide services from the ground, ladder, and/or rooftops using required safety and other equipment to clean gutters, windows and dryer vents, remove graffiti, soft wash building exteriors, power washing concrete and pavement, clean parking lots, clear and remove snow, and install and remove holiday lights on houses, multi-family residential units and commercial buildings.
• Develop thorough understanding and ability to provide the services listed using proven processes.
• Drive company vehicle with trailer to work sites.
• Responsible for tool inventory and placement.
• Remove hoses and tools from trailer; hook up to appropriate connections (water/power, etc.) and set up work site, being mindful of property.
• Place traffic signals and/or work notices.
• Remove rubble, debris from work site.

Schedule:

Typically Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm; there may be flexible opportunities including 4 x 10s during peak season.

Occasional overnight travel may be required.

Salary: $22.00-$28.00 per hour
