Your Day to Day

As a Director, Web Engineering, you would be working on:

• Lead by example – Effectively drive outcomes, innovation, and courageous risk taking beyond own area/cross‐functions. Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data often requires decision making with incomplete information.
• Strategic Initiatives – Establishes the roadmap for the functional area and drives the execution. Parcitipates with other leaders to establish strategic plans and objectives
• High Performance – Provides current, direct and real‐time feedback. Deals with corrective feedback in a manner that inspires accountability and self‐redirection among team.
• Talent Management – Creates long‐term talent management strategy towards optimal team composition for their teams in terms of experience, skill, diversity, technology and anticipated business needs.

What We’re Looking For

As a Director, Web Engineering, your background will look like

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in a leadership role preferably Sr. Manager or higher
• Strong technical skills: Should have a deep technical understanding of web technologies, specifically .NET, Azure, Sitecore, and React.js. Should be able to provide technical guidance to their team and make informed decisions based on their expertise.
• Engineering Practices: Should have sound fundamentals of software engineering and be able to lead and guide the team to develop robust code, follow repeatable quality processes, set build and deployment guidness. This in turn should allow to build and release faster
• Exposure to Public Cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) with experience in scaling, optimization, availability and security
• Web technologies are constantly evolving, and the candidate should have a passion for continuous learning and staying up to date with the latest trends and best practices. This includes attending industry conferences, reading technical blogs, and experimenting with new technologies.
