As the successful candidates, you will be responsible to provide program support services and provide excellent customer service as a member of our program delivery team. You will evaluate applications for eligibility based on program policies, guidelines and criteria. You will use your mathematical skills to calculate applicant household income from various sources of information and confirm eligibility for the program. You will use your well-developed organizations skills to process a high-volume workload and meet program delivery time frames. You must be team oriented and flexible to adapt to a changing work environment and be able to accommodate shifting priorities and workloads. You will be required to comprehend and complete legal documentation associated with approving and securing program funding.
Your excellent data entry skills will be used to record all personal and property data, funding approvals and payments in a computer database. You will also use your computer skills to retrieve data and create spreadsheet reports. You must have a good understanding of financial and bookkeeping principles, procedures and practices to be able to audit and track data to ensure commitments and payments balance with financial records and do not exceed budget limits.
You will need to apply excellent customer service skills to assist applicants who may have difficulty understanding the program or processes. You will use word processing skills for written communication and be able to compose correspondence for unique situations. You will be able to provide clear information verbally and in writing to respond to complex inquiries.
Typically, the qualifications for this position would be gained by the completion of a Diploma or Certificate of Administration combined with office administration experience or a combination of education and experience.
