An opportunity exists in the Crisis & Respite Services Unit of Community Living Service Delivery branch, for a highly motivated leader in the role of Manager, Seasonal Respite. As part of this role you will support current Crisis and Respite programs as well as lead the planning, engagement, hiring and onboarding for one of two seasonal locations. During the respite period you will lead a team that provides respite services in a camp setting and are accountable to clients and their families to ensure gold standard quality service.
Your goal is to support people through a person centered approach to achieve full citizenship and inclusion. You will provide strong leadership to this team, ensuring effective resources are provided in order for the direct care staff to carry out their roles. Your strong interpersonal skills and ability to maintain effective and collaborative working relationships with a variety of internal and external stakeholders are essential to achieving ministerial objectives in the disability sector.
Our candidate of choice will have proven management experience, combined with superior leadership and problem solving skills. Senior experience related to service delivery and accountability, and strength in conceptualization in client service is essential.

Two positions are available. One position is based in Moose Jaw, the other in Prince Albert with travel to Saskatoon required. You will report to the Managers, Crisis and Respite Services in these locations.
You are typically required to be on site throughout the week Monday – Friday, including overnight at the seasonal respite location from May – August. The schedule may be altered based on operational need. Vacation leave may be approved during this time frame and will be discussed at the interview stage.
