The Sexualized Assault Response Team (SART) is responsible for the successful operation of the Yukon’s sexual assault health services.
Who We Are Looking For
As the program lead, the Clinical Coordinator will identify and define policies and procedures, best practices, as well as the implementation strategies required to deliver the program’s goals and objectives. Due to the sensitive nature of this position, the Clinical Coordinator must be able to build, and maintain lasting relationships with the program team, and a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.

Essential Qualifications
Please submit your resume clearly demonstrating how you meet the qualifications below. Please note selections for further consideration will be based solely on the information you provide in your resume.
- A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN).
- Current registration in good standing with a Canadian registered nursing regulatory authority (please note this clearly on your resume).
- Recent experience in nursing practices, and techniques with an emphasis on Sexual Health, Sexual Assault, and victim supports.
- Experience in identifying, creating, and/or updating policies, procedures, and best practices
- Experience in training, mentoring, and/or orientating new clinical staff

Desired knowledge, skills and suitability
Candidates should have, and may be assessed o n, the following:
- Knowledge and experience in trauma informed care and practice.
- Knowledge and experience of Court proceedings and legal procedures.
- Ability to lead, instruct, and counsel individuals and teams.
- Ability to develop program curriculum, and implement appropriate training.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
- Excellent interpersonal and conflict management skills

Conditions of employment
You must meet the following conditions before being hired, or within the time frame noted.
- Verification of Bachelor of Science in Nursing
- Current registration with the Yukon Registered Nurses Association
- TB screening
- Vulnerable Sector RCMP Security Clearance
- CPR Level HCP
- Transportation of Dangerous Goods
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence
- WHMIS 2015
Job Requirements
This job requires you to perform, and/or be exposed to, the following:
- Exposure to clients with high levels of emotional need, direct and vicarious trauma, and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).
- Support for victims and care providers of sexual assault.
- Working in either an office environment, hospital setting, or in community.
- Travel within Yukon.
