We are a growing 3rd Party Logistics/Freight Forwarding Company, seeking an experienced Logistics Coordinator/Freight Forwarder.
You will have a minimum of 2 years local experience .
The right candidate will be self motivated and highly engaged in the process. You are eager to connect with the client and pride yourself in being a solution provider and problem solver.
This exciting position will expose you to a wide range of business disciplines. There are growth opportunities available within the GPNS Logistics team!
Qualifications and Experience:
- 2+ years experience in freight management preferred. Will train right candidate
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in related fields an asset.
- Superior verbal and written communications skills.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Quoting on export and import services and all modes of Transportation & Logistics.
- Preparing documents for air, ocean, courier and truck freight shipments.
- Coordinating with carriers, customs brokers and clients to effectively complete each shipment on time.
- Constant follow up, expediting and tracing.
- To actively identify potential new business opportunities with existing and new clients.
- Provide and support all service requirements.

- Starting Base Salary between $55,000 – $60,000 with annual reviews.
