Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Construction Superintendent at Grand Irish Construction Inc. The Construction Superintendent will be responsible for overseeing construction projects, performing carpentry duties, managing the construction site, ensuring safety protocols are followed, organizing schedules, budgeting, and managing the overall project from inception to completion. The role requires strong project management skills and the ability to effectively coordinate and communicate with subcontractors, suppliers, and team members.
Qualifications
- Construction Site Management, Project Management, and Organization Skills
- Construction Safety knowledge and experience
- Carpentry skills
- Budgeting and cost management skills
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Knowledge of local building codes and regulations
- Valid driver’s license
- Construction-related certifications or diplomas are an asset
