Grande Prairie Family Dental is looking for an experienced Dental Receptionist to join our team. Customer service is a core value at G.P Family Dental and we believe in our office staff to create a great experience for every patient. Our receptionists handle various administrative tasks in our front office area as well as some sterilization. They play an important part in communicating effectively with patients and maintaining an organized schedule.
This position will be Full-Time with Dental Reception/Front Desk experience required. The successful applicant must be self-motivated, organized, detail-oriented, caring and a compassionate individual to connect with patients. It is also important that this person possesses a positive attitude with professional commitment and is friendly and outgoing in a team-oriented environment. Willing to pay highly competitive wages based on experience.

Responsibilities And Duties
- Greeting patients.
- Booking patients.
- Answering phones.
- Maintaining the front desk and waiting area.
- Direct billing to insurance companies.
- Calling insurance companies.
- Printing and compiling reports.
- Collecting payments and closing a balanced day.
- Assisting with sterilization when required.
Qualifications And Skills
- Experience with Reception/Administrative work, preferably in dental.
- Must be computer proficient and learn new software easily – our clinic uses GOLD.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Availability to work during applicable business hours.
- English proficient in speaking and writing.
- Excellent customer care skills in person and on the phone.
- Strong organizational skills.
