As the Student Account Representative, you will work directly with students and their families to ensure they are successful with their journey at GrantMe. To give you a better idea of what this role entails, here is what your position at GrantMe will look like:
“As a Student Account Representative, your job is to support and guide students in various aspects of their education journey. We are here to get students excited about their next steps, whether that be winning scholarships, getting into their dream school, or helping them plan their career path. At GrantMe, we are solving the unknowns of the modern education system, by making this process as stress-free as possible. Through interacting with students on a daily basis, we are able to positively impact them and set them up for success. Working at GrantMe will constantly challenge you and help further both your personal and professional growth. You will also work with a team that is supportive and hardworking and will tackle all obstacles and challenges that come their way.”

Your role:
Conduct 1-1 Zoom sessions or calls with our students to support them through their journey.
Talk to students who registered for our platform, show them our app’s features, answer their questions, and plan for their success!
Respond to student questions via email and text message.
Work closely with the Student Success and Enrollment teams to ensure a positive student experience.
Work closely with the team to ensure our students are set-up for success on the platform.
Nurture students to educate them on their opportunities.
Use internal tools to track activity and outcomes.
Learn the ins and outs of the education system, scholarships, and jobs to educate students as you interact with them.
Stay up to date on our rapid product advancements to communicate opportunities to students.

Bonus points if you:
Have worked in customer-facing roles, either in sales or customer service – yes, that includes retail and restaurants!
Have experience working with students in high school or post-secondary.
Have general University Application process knowledge.
Have been part of a startup or are an entrepreneur.
Have won (or even applied for) scholarships and have an understanding of some of the challenges involved.
Have been or are currently a student yourself.
Have participated in organized sports – we are a league of champions!
