POSITION:
Estimating/Sales Admin. Assistant
Rate of Pay: Fair and negotiable, based on experience.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Green Flag Coatings is Custom garage interior (design and build) company. We are currently seeking an Estimating and
Sales Admin. Assistant. This is an entry level position that is anticipated to present opportunities for development and advancement within the company.
The Estimating/Sales Assistant will be responsible for assisting the estimating department with all facets of the estimating and sales process.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
➢ Provide administrative support to estimating department.
➢ Determine scopes of work and assist with take offs and estimates (willingness to learn required)
➢ Maintain estimating and project logs
➢ Assist in development of schedules
➢ Tracking of project labor and materials
➢ Managing the change order process
➢ Promotes safety at the jobsite
➢ Record information & manage tracking logs for the estimating team.
➢ Effectively communicate with suppliers, customers, and co-workers to obtain the information necessary to complete pre-quoting tasks.
➢ Maintain communication on the status of all quotes.
➢ Additional duties as required.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Although experience is always considered an asset, Green Flag Coatings is willing to train and support the development and talent of the right candidate.
➢ Experience as an Assistant in a construction, or renovation environment considered an asset
➢ Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Power Point, Word, Outlook)
➢ Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
➢ Dedication to providing top notch customer service
➢ Strong attention to detail
➢ Ability to read, understand and organize project details
➢ Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
➢ Ability to work independently and with minimal structure while exercising great judgment
➢ Strong Ability to multitask, and prioritize to meet established deadlines
➢ Willingness to learn the estimating process and offer suggestions for improvement
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
