Responsibilities Include:
Become well versed in company HR processes, software systems and maintain timely maintenance to these processes and systems to support the business and employee programs
Manage day-to-day administrative tasks of the P&C team and support other P&C projects and programs as required
Continuously improve our P&C operations and work collaboratively to provide quality support to our employees
Full cycle recruitment for entry-mid level positions across Retail, Operations and Sales, and support functions
Ongoing tracking and preparation of people related data and reports as required
Process new hires, promotions, and other internal changes in BambooHR and support with data entry and ensuring accuracy and integrity across all systems
Manage Co-op Recruitment Program and administration of government wage subsidy submissions
Coordination of engagement initiatives at Greenhouse
Champion and participate in safety initiatives, such as WHMIS & Safety Training
Assist in improving and coordinating the new hire on-boarding program
Contribute to continuous improvements to the P&C strategies by assisting to research, analyze and support to build out people practices company wide
Skills & Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s degree is required, with preference given to Business Management or Human Resources majors
Preference given to those who have completed a post-graduate certificate or Masters in Human Resources Management and a co-op placement
Knowledge of employment/labor standards in Canada
Knowledge of Human Rights Legislation
Strong ethical principles and an understanding of confidentiality
Ability to manage projects and prioritize tasks
Ability to analyze problems and provide solutions
