Greystones Restaurant and Lounge in Orangeville is looking for a part time dishwasher to join our team. The candidate must be mature in behavior, focused, reliable, clean and organized and able to work at a fast pace. Responsibilities include washing dishes, scrubbing pots and pans, cleaning kitchen equipment, cleaning and closing the kitchens (sweeping, mopping, taking out the recycle and garbage). There will be times the candidate will be asked to help with food prep or other duties.
The candidate will generally work Friday and Saturday nights, sometimes one other day. Additional days will be required if someone on the team is on vacation or ill.
The candidate must be able to stand for long hours, lift up to 50lbs, walk up and down stairs. Must have appropriate foot wear for a kitchen such as non slip and provide their own apron.
The candidate will report to the dishwasher supervisor, but at times follow instructions from the Head Chef, the Sous Chef and the owners.
