Grifflyn Electric Inc. was founded in 2020 in an effort to create a company that is different from the rest. We are now going into year 3 of successful business. We are busy!
We are a Full Service Electrical Contractor focussed on Commercial Tenant Improvements/Upgrades and also take on Custom Residential Renovations as required to fill the time between projects.
We continue to create and develop relationships and strive to always be above the standard expectations in cleanliness, code compliance, communication and attention to the finer details. We continue to grow and establish solid connections in Victoria with contractors and clients.
We need someone with a positive attitude, a Solid electrician meaning – a strong ability to problem solve that knows circuitry, the Electrical code and safety regulations. You will work closely with customers, contractors to achieve projected results. This also means, if you have a question or need clarification that you are not afraid to ask the question before completing the work.
Job Description and Salary Expectations:
Customer Service is in your blood. You are helping Grifflyn do exception electrical work in residential and commercial.
Team Orientated. You will be in direct supervision of apprentices and journeypersons to complete each task on-time.
Complete all electrical work to Current Canadian Electrical Code Standards and Regulations
Pre-plan the scope of work per day – executing the required tasks in a professional manner, meeting goals and objectives as determined in advance with the team.
Attend company huddles, planning and safety meetings
Communicate effectively with all stakeholders
Complete and submit all paperwork on time
Rate of Pay: $40-$50/hour depending on experience and certifications (and of course we pay overtime after 8 hours)
Typically 5 days a week (Monday to Friday) however, there may be some opportunity for additional work during bigger projects. Flexibility is important but we also recognize that work-life balance is essential.
