Our client, a law firm, is looking to recruit a legal assistant to contribute to the performance of the members of a practice group.

YOUR ROLE
As the coordinator of a team of legal/administrative assistants, you will play a decisive role on daily operations. You will be responsible to:
Evaluate the work to be accomplished and distribute the workload equitably within the team;
Support and mobilize employees, create a stimulating work environment based on cooperation;
Ensure staff development and coordinate the follow-up of technical training for new employees;
Acts as the primary liaison between professionals, management and administrative support staff;
Respond to operational needs, sharing management issues and best practices;
Take over in case of unforeseen absence or work overload.
PREREQUISITES
DCS in office systems technology, DVS in secretarial studies with legal specialization or any other equivalent training;
Solid experience as a legal assistant;
Supervising experience an asset;
Master of MS Suite Office;
Strong communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills;
Thoroughness, excellent judgement;
Ability to create and maintain professional relationships based on trust and respect.
