YOUR ROLE
As a paralegal, your duties will include :
.Preparing documents for the filing of new applications with the Canadian Intellectual Property Office and other countries (assignments, powers of attorney);
.Rigorously monitor deadlines and ensure that they are met;
.Prepare formal documentation requiring signatures from applicants;
.Prepare and manage customer correspondence;
.Manage client accounts (forwarding documents relating to new trademark applications, updating specific instructions, updating portfolios, invoicing, etc.);
.Keep customer database up to date.
REQUIRED SKILLS
.College diploma in paralegal techniques or equivalent training;
.Experience in intellectual property, an asset;
.Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite;
.Organizational skills, good management of priorities and ability to meet deadlines;
.Dynamism, team spirit and good interpersonal skills;
.Autonomy and attention to detail.
