We are looking for a dependable and competent driver for pickup and deliveries within Alberta. The applicant is expected to be courteous and professional when interacting with customers and must have a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Our standard work week is 4 days (Mon-Thur) per week 10hrs per day with frequent over time. Vacation starts at 2 weeks per year.
Requirements
The applicant must be able to complete the following tasks:
- Valid driver’s license
- A clean record
- Proficient at driving and parking large vehicles
- Load and organize product inventory from the warehouse onto the truck and unload products in and out of the truck as needed throughout the day
- Ensure products are delivered in a timely manner
- Collect signature or payment if necessary upon arrival to the recipient client
- Keep vehicle organized, clean and tidy
- Experience using hand trucks, pallet jacks, and forklifts is a plus
- Ability to drive a 30′ gooseneck trailer and or a 5 Ton Truck
- Operate a Mobile Lift Truck
- Dependable and hardworking
At times depending on workload the individual will need to be available to help with shipping/receiving and machine operation on the shop floor.
