GSK Looking for Marketing Associate, Vaccines at Mississauga, Ontario, Canada Full Time

Required Strengths: Project Management /Team Player/ Self Starter

The Marketing Associate will play a key role in the vaccines team that strives to deliver value to patients, Healthcare Professionals and GSK. This individual will be a self starter who can drive projects forward and effectively work with team members. This successful candidate will work across a number of different brands and in partnership with our sales and Medical teams.

Responsibilities include supporting development of sales and training tools and managing key projects for the vaccines team.

In this position you may participate in:

• Develop marketing and training materials for both sales force and customer-facing programs in alignment with brand strategy
• Organize and plan day-to-day touchpoints within the vaccines business division
• Play a project management role …
• Assist the Marketing team in the logistics of National/Regional conference planning
• Help the Marketing team in planning and executing National/Regional advisory board activities and Market Research

Qualifications required:

• University degree in Marketing, Business or Health Sciences and preferably working towards or recently completed a Masters’ degree
• General knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry is required
• Self-starter who takes initiative and is a strategic and solution-oriented thinker
• Ability to prioritize tasks by urgency, importance, and impact, and demonstrated effective time management skills to deliver across multiple projects
• Creative, persuasive individual who works well in a team environment
• Proven ability to deal with ambiguity, requiring agility and flexibility to deliver on tasks at hand
• Willingness to ask for help and/or guidance as needed in order to move forward with projects and responsibility
• Results oriented with a proven ability to manage projects and meet challenging deadlines.
• Excellent maturity and interpersonal skills necessary to interface in a professional manner with external, internal and GSK customers/stakeholders in a matrix environment (responsiveness, “how can we” attitude, tact, ability to facilitate group meetings).
• Clear and concise, verbal and written communication skills including active listening, summarizing, probing, clarifying.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)

Preferred qualifications:

• Bilingual (French & English) is an asset
• Interest and/or experience in marketing
