Position Overview
As an Art Teacher in our Romford schools, you will play a pivotal role in nurturing students’ artistic talents and fostering their passion for the arts. Your adaptability and dedication will be essential in delivering engaging and effective art education.
Responsibilities
- Art Teaching: As an Art Teacher, your primary role is to deliver engaging and comprehensive art lessons, covering various aspects of the subject to inspire creativity in your students.
- Versatility: Your adaptability shines as you work with students of different ages, adapting your teaching style and content to meet their unique needs and abilities.
- Curriculum Delivery: Effectively convey the art curriculum, helping students develop their artistic skills, creativity, and critical thinking.
- Student Engagement: Encourage active participation and artistic expression, making art an exciting and accessible subject.
- Assessment and Feedback: Provide regular assessments, feedback, and support to help students refine their artistic abilities.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a background in art education are highly advantageous.
- Strong subject knowledge in art, with the ability to create a stimulating and effective learning environment.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Dedication to fostering students’ artistic interests and achievements.
- Flexibility and the ability to adapt your teaching style to meet the diverse needs of your students.
