Position: Learning Support Assistant (LSA) – English Mentor/Tutor
Location: Thurrock/Havering

Role Overview
As an English Graduate LSA, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Providing one-on-one or small group mentoring and tutoring to students who may need extra support in English.
- Assisting in the development and implementation of personalized learning plans to address individual students’ needs.
- Collaborating with teachers and other educational professionals to enhance students’ comprehension of English concepts.
- Encouraging and motivating students to build confidence and enthusiasm for the English language.
- Monitoring and tracking students’ progress, and providing constructive feedback to both students and teachers.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree in English or a related field.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of English language and literature.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual student needs.
- A passion for education and a desire to inspire and support students.
