About the Role: Intervention Specialist

As an Intervention Specialist, you will work closely with students who require additional academic support, helping them overcome challenges and achieve their full potential. Your role will involve implementing effective intervention strategies, monitoring progress, and collaborating with teachers and parents to ensure student success.

Key Responsibilities: Intervention Specialist

• Identify students in need of academic intervention through assessment and collaboration with teaching staff.
• Develop and implement individualised intervention plans to address students’ specific learning needs.
• Provide targeted support in areas such as literacy, numeracy, or social-emotional development.
• Monitor student progress and adjust intervention strategies as needed to maximise effectiveness.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external support services to create a holistic support network for students.

Requirements

• Previous experience working as an Intervention Specialist or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of educational intervention strategies and best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build rapport with students and motivate them to achieve academic success.
• Flexibility and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of students.
