LSA/Behavioural – Grays

Are you passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of young learners? Do you have experience in supporting students with behavioral challenges? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you!

We are a dynamic and inclusive educational institution dedicated to providing the best learning environment for our students. We are currently seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Learning Support Assistant (LSA) with expertise in behavioral support to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with behavioral challenges.
• Implement behavior management strategies and interventions as directed by the school’s SENCO or behavioral specialist.
• Support the class teacher in creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Assist students in their academic and social development.
• Monitor and record the progress and behavior of assigned students.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Learning Support Assistant or working with students with behavioral needs.
• Strong understanding of behavior management techniques and strategies.
• Patience, empathy, and the ability to build rapport with students.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff.
• A relevant qualification in education or behavior support is desirable but not essential.
