As a Nursery Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in creating a positive and stimulating learning environment for young children. Your responsibilities will include supporting the daily routine, assisting with age-appropriate activities, and fostering positive relationships with children and parents.

Position: Nursery Teaching Assistant ( TA )

Key Responsibilities

• As a Nursery Teaching Assistant you will support the daily care routines, including feeding, diapering, and nap times.
• Assist in planning and implementing age-appropriate activities that support children’s development.
• As a Nursery Teaching Assistant you will foster positive relationships with children, providing emotional support and encouragement.
• Contribute to creating a safe and stimulating learning environment, both indoors and outdoors.
• As a Nursery Teaching Assistant you will collaborate with Nursery Practitioners and colleagues to ensure the smooth running of the nursery.
• Communicate effectively with parents, providing updates on children’s progress and well-being.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential.
• A genuine passion for early childhood education and the well-being of young children.
• A minimum of a Level 2 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent is desirable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of the children and the nursery.
