YOUR ROLE
The Logistics Coordinator, the liaison between the customer and the operation, acts as first point of contact for the customer and resolves any problems or concerns with the delivery of the customers’ product, while projecting a positive and professional image at all times.
Responsibilities
Ensure that customers are highly regarded and receive exceptional service during the shipping of customers’ product;
Address problems with shipping delays and client deadlines;
Accountable to anticipate and defuse potential problems, which could include phone or email interactions with customers;
Respond to customer inquiries, providing turnaround within ½ hour;
Develop and maintain a positive client relationship by providing routine follow-up customer service calls;
Document and escalate any customer service issues and/or shipping/receiving errors
Adhering to policies and procedures as well as regulatory compliance;
Use the client’s portal in order to track and monitor all inbound and outbound shipping requests to and from the terminal;
Rectify problems, such as late & non-delivery of product;
Document shipping information into the appropriate internal system
Identify areas of improvement, actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives and perform other work, as required
What we are loooking for:
DES required, DEP or DEC in a relevant field is preferred
2 years experience in customer service and /or in the transportation & logistics industry, an asset
Fluently bilingual (English/French) required
A strong customer service orientation
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Highly motivated and result oriented
Strong attention to detail
Excellent proactive communication and interpersonal skills
Proficient knowledge of computer applications
Strong problem solving skills with the ability to prioritize tasks

Salary is commensurate with experience and skills and falls within industry standards
