Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Manufacturing Engineer Technologist at Guelph Manufacturing Group Inc. The Manufacturing Engineer Technologist will be responsible for managing and optimizing manufacturing processes, conducting engineering analyses, and providing technical support to production teams. The role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements, ensuring product quality and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, including industrial engineering and mechanical engineering
- Experience in machining and metal component production
- Proficiency in problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Knowledge of quality management systems and continuous improvement methodologies
- Experience with Lean manufacturing principles and practices
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Experience in the automotive industry is a plus
