Parts Sales Associate
We are a long established, proudly Canadian business specializing in the sale and distribution of HVAC equipment. An important aspect of our business is the sales of aftermarket parts, largely to contractors and end users in the GTA. We are fortunate to work with a team of dedicated long-term employees, and are always looking for resourceful, entrepreneurial, and talented new colleagues.
Currently we are seeking a Parts Sales Associate whose primary task is to assist with the selling of parts over the phone and in-person, provide customer service, and help with all aspects of maintaining and organizing the parts warehouse. You will receive training and mentorship from our senior parts sales-people. This position is ideal for a very organized, efficient, flexible, resourceful, and detail oriented individual who will thrive within a supportive collaborative team environment.
We are looking for an individual ideally with an HVAC background who has experience in customer service, selling, ordering, sourcing, and organizing parts. In addition, a mechanical background and aptitude are essential to this position. You will have a forklift license, and be comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs. You must be an excellent communicator, both written and oral, with a very good command of English, and work well both independently and as part of a team. Most of your communication with customers will be over the phone or via email.
In time the right candidate will transition into a senior parts sales role. In addition there are always other growth opportunities for entrepreneurial go-getters within our organization.
At H.E. Rieckelman, we really like our colleagues, most of us have been working together for a long time, and as a community we value a work life balance. A final step before we hire is a thorough background screening. As the filling of this position is urgent, you must currently be eligible to work in Canada. We thank all candidates who respond, but only those selected for an interview will be contacted.
