H2O Digital Marketing Looking for Social Media Coordinator – Remote at Toronto, ON Full Time

H2O Digital Marketing is seeking a Social Media Coordinator to help us support our growing client base. We focus on helping clients craft, navigate and execute their digital marketing strategies and plans. Our client profile spans local retail businesses, franchises, and large clients across multiple industries. The Role: The Social Media Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and executing social media posts and campaigns. The primary focus on community management, engagement and editorial for our various clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain Content Calendars, including writing social media posts across various platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn etc)
• Assist with creation of images to support social content
• Post relevant content in accordance with Content Calendar
• Review user generated comments & posts in a quick & timely manner
• Respond to comments, when appropriate to foster a positive community & add value to the user’s experience

The Ideal Candidate has:

• At least 1 year experience in Social Media Marketing
• Educational background in Journalism, Communications, Marketing or English preferred
• Excellent command of (written) English, including strong and creative copy-writing and editing skills
• Advanced knowledge of Social Media platforms – Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, Pinterest, Snapchat, TikTok etc.,
• Beginner knowledge of analytics, tracking and social media monitoring
• Willingness and ability to create social media posts daily
• Knowledge of digital media software – Photoshop or other graphic design software is preferred
• Detail oriented skill set and possesses excellent writing, communications and interpersonal skills
