We are working with a Chemical Manufacturer based in Bolton who an Operations Director to join a busy team in a busy environment.

Responsibilities / The Candidate

• Responsible for the overall site operations ensuring Health, Safety, Cost, Delivery and People standards are met
• Strong Leadership/Management skills within Manufacturing, Production, Operations, Quality, Technical and Engineering.
• Fully P&L responsibility.
• Experience in the Chemical industry.
• Input in board meetings making recommendations to the business on Strategic and Operational improvements of margin or growth.
• Maintaining and implementing Quality Standards using LEAN Tools, Systems and Continuous Improvements.
• Ensuring all KPIs are met daily/weekly/monthly.
• Delivering excellent service ensuring the clients needs and preferences are met.
• Previous experience within Fabrication, Welding, Planned, Preventative Maintenance and repair.
• Background in Engineering

• Appropriate Graduate Level Degree Qualification
