H&A Mastronardi Farms Ltd. Looking for Vegetable Packer Full Time

VEGETABLE WAREHOUSE PACKER – FULL TIME

JOB SUMMARY

H&A Farms is a greenhouse vegetable production and packing facility located in Kingsville, ON. We are currently looking for full-time packers (Monday-Friday (Occasional Saturdays) to help grade and pack produce in our warehouse.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, and Line Lead(s)

The warehouse packer will:

• Load bulk product into specified pack line areas.
• Grade and sort defective product out of production lines.
• Measure, weigh, and count products and materials.
• Pack produce into bowls, clamshells and bags.
• Stack boxes of finished product on pallets.
• Make boxes manually and using box machine.
• Clean and sanitize packing areas using cleaning solutions and hand tools provided.
• Follow all food safety, health and safety policies and procedures.
• Follow all other line lead and warehouse supervisor directives.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Legally eligible to work in Canada.
• Physically able to lift heavy materials (i.e. average of 13 kg/30 lbs).
• Able to stand on feet for extended periods of time.
• Able to work in a cool (14- 18 °C) climate-controlled environment.
• Have flexible hours to meet business demand.
• Have own transportation to work.
• Be punctual and reliable.
• Prior packing experience considered an asset.

HOURS

• 8–10 hour shift
• Day shift only
• Monday to Friday (Occasional Saturday’s)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: From $15.50 per hour

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Kingsville, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Experience:

• warehouse: 1 year (preferred)

Work Location: One location
