PURPOSE/ROLE
The Full Stack Senior Software Engineer is a key member within the software engineering team contributing to Scrum team health, continuous improvement of our software development process, leading the design and development on any Aquatic Informatics product and contributing superior software development technical skills especially in the following .NET, C#, HTML, CSS, Angular, SQL
POSITION DESCRIPTION
End-to-End development of cloud applications utilizing AWS and Azure stacks.
Leading the design, documentation, implementation, and troubleshooting of features.
Collaborating with the team to deliver quality features on time including participating in requirements, design and code reviews.
Proficiency with modern web development technologies.
Providing maintenance fixes for existing features.
Unit, integration and e2e testing.
Managing and enhancing the build and test environments.
Providing time estimates for assigned tasks.
Providing timely and accurate status reports on your assigned tasks
QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
Post-secondary degree/diploma in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent combination of education & experience.
Experience:
5+ years of experience building and maintaining complex, scaled commercial enterprise systems, with a strong preference for SaaS experience using AWS or Azure technologies.
Microsoft development expertise: .NET, and related technologies.
Experience with Angular, React, Vue, or similar frameworks.
Demonstrated expertise with source control (Git).
Experience with Agile and Test-Driven Development.
Database design and development using SQL, Oracle or Postgres.
Experience with DevOps is an asset
Skills:
Self-starter with excellent design and analysis skills.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as a member of the Agile team.
Outstanding English communication skills both written and verbal.
Ability to establish work priorities, effectively multi-task and balance varying demands.
Dedication to keeping up to date with current trends and best practices.
This position is eligible for a remote work arrangement in which you can work remotely from your home. Several locations have been listed for marketing purposes but only one position is available.
