As we continue to grow, we are seeking Construction Labourers to join the team full time. We are looking for a crew of efficient, safety-minded Labourers for a residential construction development.
Responsibilities & Duties
- Operate and care for construction equipment and machines.
- Help equipment operators, carpenters, and other skilled labor when necessary.
- Prep construction sites by cleaning obstacles and hazards.
- Load or unload construction materials.
- Put together and take apart temporary structures, such as scaffolding.
- Remove, fill, or compact earth.
- Follow instructions from supervisors.
- Ready to learn from on-the-job training when necessary.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to work sites.
- Experience as a general laborer in the construction industry is ideal.
- Ability to do physical labor and other strenuous physical tasks -Lift heavy loads up to 70 lbs and navigate construction job site terrain.
- Basic understanding of construction principles and procedures
- Workers must be punctual and reliable.
- Comfort working in a high-stress environment with extreme weather fluctuations.
