The Planning Information Analyst, reporting to a Principal Planner, works to create geospatial information, design tools and processes to analyze data, and creates informative visualizations presentations, reports to Council, and the public. In this technical role, the Planning Information Analyst undertakes projects involving geospatial analysis, 3D modeling, civic addressing, and the creation of data-based solutions to Land Use and Planning initiatives. The Planning Information Analyst requires technical knowledge of geographic information systems, quantitative methods as well as data management concepts, and knowledge of planning issues and civic addressing regulations, and legislation.

WORK STATUS: Two (2) Permanent, Full Time position
HOURS OF WORK: Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm, 35 hours per week
SALARY: Level 7, NSUPE, $33.08/hr.
WORK LOCATION: Duke Tower, 3rd Floor, Halifax NS
