Halliwell Consulting Looking for Human Resource Manager at Kitchener, ON Full Time

Job Description:

Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced HR Manager to join their team in the automotive industry. The HR Manager will be responsible for leading and implementing all human resource initiatives for the organization. This includes developing and implementing policies, procedures, and programs related to employee relations, training and development, performance management, and talent management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
• Bridge management and employee relations by addressing concerns, managing conflict, and conducting investigations
• Oversee the recruitment and selection process, including posting job openings, screening resumes, and conducting interviews
• Lead employee training and development initiatives, including identifying training needs and facilitating training sessions
• Manage employee performance evaluations and support career development planning
• Administer employee benefits and ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations
• Maintain employee records and HRIS system
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in HR

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field
• 5+ years of HR experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role
• Proven experience in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures
• Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations in Ontario
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $90,000.00-$115,000.00 per year

Experience:

• Manufacturing: 3 years (preferred)
