About Halp:
Halp, a tech-enabled international college admissions platform, is building a study abroad platform for the next billion learners – we want to make education accessible for everyone. We help international students get in and afford college using our unique platform + WhatsApp-based texting. Instead of paying agents that don’t use tech, push high commission programs, and coach with a one-to-many ratio, students use Halp to get 1:1 support where the student’s best interest is the only thing that matters!
Our study abroad coaches (that’s you!) combined with our immigration partners provide 1:1 coaching. From recommending schools, building & submitting applications on the student’s behalf to visa guidance & set-up support. Halp students land on campus with a bank account, phone plan, and a place to live, excited to start their study abroad journey.

About the Role:
Halp’s study abroad coaches work directly with students on a daily basis – you can think of it like personal training but for study abroad! Using our platform & communication tools you will guide your own cohort of students through the study abroad journey providing a premium experience. This includes – institution recommendations, building & submitting applications, working directly with universities/colleges, visa support, on-campus setup and more. All while building strong relationships with your students and their families.
Our coaching team collaborates daily to tackle problems and ensure we’re providing an amazing service that will set students up for success throughout their careers. As the main point of contact to students and stakeholders of the product yourself your feedback and insight is paramount to building the platform for the next billion users.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver a unique and world-class experience to each and every Halp student through SMS and calling.
- Meet virtually with students & their families to coach them through their study abroad journey – recommend programs, build applications, & provide guidance to get them accepted!
- Provide feedback and insight to improve Halp’s processes.
- Gather and synthesize student feedback and work with Operations to implement it.
- Support other ad-hoc marketing initiatives
Qualifications:
- Ability to problem solve and work autonomously
- High attention to detail and high-level organizational skills
- Strong written and oral communicator
- Personable and friendly
- Fluent in English
- Bonus if you have experience as an international student
*If not a Canadian citizen or permanent resident – have to be on a visa that allows you to work full-time (35+ hours per week)
Compensation:
- Base: $40,000
- Bonuses up to: $20,000+
