Hays Looking for Bookkeeper at North York, Ontario, Canada Full Time

Bookkeeper Opportunity – North York (In Office Role) – $55,000 – $65,000

Responsibilities:

• Bookkeeping, Accounting, Financial Statements, and Bank Reconciliation
• HST filing
• Processing Salaried Staff Payroll on a weekly basis
• Payroll Payable (payroll deductions payments)
• WSIB Premium Payable. WSIB Clearance Certificates renewal as required, and annual WSIB account Reconciliation
• Preparing Employment Agreements for new employees
• Processing A/P Cheques
• Reconciling monthly Vendors’ Statement for outstanding invoices
• Issuing Construction, Service, and PM Invoices
• Processing A/R cheques
• ROEs, T4s, T4 Summary
• Business Liability Insurance and Car Fleet Insurance
• Maintaining Vehicles files, Insured Drivers List, Accidents Insurance Claims files
• Invoicing

Experience:

• Minimum 2+ years experience in an Accounting capacity
• Strong attention to detail is a must
• Good working knowledge of MS Office is an asset
• Self-motivated and able to work independently; work well under pressure
• A team player with strong interpersonal skills
