Hays Recruitment is hiring a Construction Scheduler to work with our client in Vancouver, BC. This role falls under construction and will include projects under ICI (Industrial, Commercial and Institutional).

Your new role:
As a Construction Scheduler, your primary responsibility is to manage time and resources to ensure that construction projects are completed on schedule. You create comprehensive project timetables, determining the timing of tasks and the materials needed for successful project execution. Working closely with Project Supervisors or Managers, you compile data for cost and time status updates. Additionally, you collaborate with project engineers, consultants, and other stakeholders to review Critical Path Method (CPM) schedules for transportation projects related to roads and bridges. Your role also involves projecting staffing needs, supporting project management in scope, budget, and schedule preparation, and analyzing project performance metrics. By fostering collaborative relationships and adhering to industry standards, you can contribute to achieving business goals.
What you’ll need to succeed:
To succeed in this role, we are seeking candidates with a Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering or a related field. You should have at least 7 years of experience in a similar role, including with 5 years of experience with using Primavera and have experience with Microsoft Office. You will have previous experience in resource loading scheduling and have experience with construction or any other relevant industry, with experience working on large, complex projects.
