Hays is currently working with a reputable and established general contractor in Calgary, who are looking for a Project Director to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing operations of all relevant commercial and multi-family builds. Your expertise in project management, construction processes, and effective communication will be crucial in delivering exceptional results.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of commercial and multi-family construction projects, from planning to completion
• Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure successful project delivery
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies
• Provide leadership and mentorship to project managers and other team members
• Identify and mitigate project risks and issues
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting of project status to senior management

Requirements:

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in managing commercial and/or multi-family construction projects with a general contractor
• Education in construction management, engineering, or a related field
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
