Our client, a global world class manufacturer in the Vaughan area, is currently recruiting for a Manufacturing Engineer. Their ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience working with an automotive manufacturing company where you worked with Program Managers working on all aspects of programs from Cradle to Grave.

Minimum requirements:
- Engineering degree/diploma or equivalent combination of education and applicable work related experience
- Minimum of five years of applicable work experience in an automotive manufacturing environment obtaining quotes and working with outside vendors and integrators on equipment builds and part supply.
- Practical experience in costing and quoting
- Experience with capacity planning, logistics, material flow
- Hands on experience and good understanding of APQP, IATF16949,VA/VE, DOE, GD&T and continuous improvement tools.
- xperience with stamping, robotic welding or injection moulding processes
Responsibilities include:
- Experience managing programs from concept to grave.
- Purchase and instal of new or modified manufacturing equipment or tooling
- Develop quotations for new business.
- Develop Standard work procedures
- Identify manufacturing cost reductions through data analysis
- Train shop floor employees
- Develop and maintain APQP documents
